Where are thou?

And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, where are thou?” Genesis 3:9.

This is the first question in the Bible from the Almighty God to the first man, Adam.

This question is still very relevant to everyman today. Whatever your status and position in the society; whatever your religion; whatever your race; whatever your family background; whatever your profession, whatever your academic qualifications, you need to answer this question today.

When Adam and his wife (Eve) sinned against God, they hid themselves from his presence.

The voice of the Lord came to them asking, “where are you?”

My dear reader, where are you?

Are you living in sin? Are you living in disobedience? Or are you hiding yourself from the presence of the Lord?

Adam answered “ I heard your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself. “Genesis 3:10.

Every sinner is in perpetual bondage of fear. He or she is naked, miserable, and shameful position. It is the presence of the Lord that brings victory, protection, security and joy. (Psalm 16:11). You can return to the presence of the LORD Today and stop hiding yourself from Him.
