JESUS OUR SHEPHERD
Jesus said “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep… and (1) know my sheep and am known of mine” – John 10:11.14

David said, “the Lord is my shepherd, I shall not lack” Psalm 23:1. What a big testimony for a person to know the Lord as his personal shepherd, who can supply all needs! Unfortunately, there are people who go to church, who are yet to discover the Lord as their shepherd. Every Sunday, they proclaim that “we have all gone astray like sheep without shepherd”. It is time for all wandering souls to come to the Lord and make Him their shepherd.

The Bible says Jesus is the Chief Shepherd, who on His appearance will give “a crown of glory that fades not away” to all those that faithfully feed the flock of God. (I Peter 5:4). Today, you can make Him your Lord as well as your shepherd, and become one of those who will faithfully find His feed.

Jesus is the Great Shepherd of the sheep. (Hebrew 12:20). And He is the shepherd and bishop of our souls. (I Peter 2:25). He is the gentle shepherd that cares for His sheep. (Isaiah 40:11). On the day of judgment, Jesus as the chief shepherd will separate the sheep from the goats. Mat 25:31-46. He will set the sheep on his right hand to inherit the kingdom of God (v. 33,34). To the goats on the left hand will go into everlasting fire (v.41)

Benefits of Having Jesus as our shepherd

Jesus as a good Shepherd, is faithful, fearless, considerate and unselfish; that’s why he laid down His life for you. In return, what do you want to do for Him? You can come to him today and commit your life to Him.

Are you a backslider? All backsliders are lost sheep living at the mercies of the enemies that are waiting to destroy them. Jeremiah 50:6-7. Therefore do not wait for another day. Return to the Lord, the shepherd and Bishop of your soul.

Are you a sinner? All backsliders are lost sheep living at the mercies of the enemies that are waiting to destroy them. Jeremiah 50:6-7. Therefore do not wait for another day. Return to the Lord, the shepherd and Bishop of your soul.

Are you a sinner? All unrepented sinners who believe not the son of God shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on personal LORD and SAVIOUR and then your SHEPHERD and it shall be well with you. Confess your sins, repent of them and ask Jesus to come into your life. I look forward to seeing you in God’s Kingdom.
